Lorena is a backend developer graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) with a degree in Computer Science. She has been working with Elixir for 3 and a half years. She is co-founder of Temachtiani, a community dedicated to promoting the participation of women in technology in Mexico. As her commitment to closing the gender gap in STEM, she also collaborates with different communities focused on the same goal, Technolatinas being one of them. She loves new challenges and she is always willing to learn and build community. She loves dogs and coffee.

Elixir has a very powerful set of debugging tools not everyone is aware of. They bring the community benefits inherited from the need to debug borderline conditions and find hard to reproduce bugs in live Erlang systems. In this talk, we’ll explore the foundations behind Elixir wrappers like Rexbug, using examples to explain the fundamentals which give us all this magic.
